On Friday, Cameroon will take on Brazil in the final game of the group stage. What to expect from this game? Look out for our prediction below.

Command Analysis

Cameroon

Cameroon got a very difficult World Cup group. With such opponents as Brazil, Serbia, and Switzerland, they were the clear outsiders. In the first game, the African side lost to Switzerland (0:1). They played a decent game, but couldn't find the back of the net. In the second match, Rigobert Song's men made a fantastic comeback from losing 1:3 and drew Serbia (3:3).
That draw revived Cameroon's hope for qualifying, but to make it into the last 16 for the first time in 32 years, Song's side need to beat Brazil. Moreover, the Indomitable Lions need Switzerland to lose or draw against Serbia, and then it will come to goal difference. Cameroon defeated Brazil in 2003 Confederations Cup (1:0), but that was the only victory of an African team over Brazil in the last 20 years. Interestingly enough, Rigobert Song was the captain of the Indomitable Lions back then.

Brazil

Brazil national team is one of the favourites to win this World Cup. After the victory over Serbia (2:0) in the first game, Tite's side became the leader of Group G. In the second match, Brazil got a hard-fought victory over Switzerland (1:0) and secured a spot in the round of 16; Casemiro delivered the winning goal.
Both times when Brazil was in the same group with Cameroon (1994 and 2014), they beat the African side by three goals. The five-time world champions won the cups in 1970 and 2002 without draws in group games or extra time in the playoffs. This could be another perfect run for Selecao - the team is highly motivated and eager to deliver the best results.
Sandro, Danilo and Neymar are sidelined with injuries.
