South Korea were considered outsiders in their group. With such opponents as Portugal, Uruguay, and Ghana, the Asian side had a small chance of qualifying for the playoffs. But in the first game, Paulo Bento's men put up a fight against Uruguay and managed to hold the Sky-Blues to a goalless draw.

In the second match, the Tigers of Asia faced Ghana. It was a very dramatic game: South Korea were two goals down at halftime, but they managed to make a comeback by minute 61. However, soon after that they conceded a third goal and in the end lost with a score of 2:3. South Korea must win to have a chance of qualifying for the playoffs.

Portugal

Portugal were the favourites in Group H before the start of the tournament, and they were among the first three teams at this World Cup to secure a spot in the last 16. In the first game, Fernando Santos' charges got a hard-fought victory over Ghana (3:2).

In the second match, Portugal looked more focused and well-organized. They didn't allow Uruguay to create anything dangerous in attack, and their constant pressure in the second half resulted in two goals. A 2:0 victory put Portugal on top of Group H table with six points. They don't have to worry about the result tonight and can rest some key players.
