Toronto vs Boston: prediction for the NHL game
The Maple Leafs and the Bruins square off in the NHL on Wednesday. What to expect from the teams? Look out for our prediction below.

Command Analysis

Toronto Maple Leafs

Toronto are having a decent regular season. The team currently occupies the 3rd position in the East, but lately, the Maple Leafs couldn't win more than two games in a row. After a victory over the Rangers (3:2 OT), Sheldon Keefe's team lost to Ottawa (2:6) and then crushed Washington (5:1). Auston Matthews, Toronto's main star, got an injury in one of the last games. It was reported that the forward will miss about three weeks.

Boston Bruins

Boston are having an absolutely fantastic season and are the leaders in the overall NHL standings with 81 points. However, right now the Bruins are on a three-game losing streak. Jim Montgomery's charges lost to Tampa (2:3), Florida (3:4 ОТ), and Carolina (1:4) away from home. In each of those games, they conceded at least three goals, which is uncharacteristic of the team this season. They still have the best defense in the league though.
Trends
Ставка Toronto IT under 2.5 goals
On average, Boston concede no more than 2 goals per game.

Ставка 1st period: total over 1.5 goals
4 out of 5 meetings between the clubs had more than one goal in the first period.

Tip and bets
We expect Boston to break their string of defeats and win toinght. The Bruins got a regulation-time victory in the reverse fixture in January, and we think they have a good chance of winning tonight, too, especially if we consider that the Leafs have quite a few injuries, including their main star Auston Matthews.
Our prediction - Boston to win
Boston are solid on defense and rarely concede more than two goals in one game. Sheldon Keefe's men, on the other hand, sometimes struggle to convert their scoring chances, and we don't expect them to break through the best defense in the league more than twice.
Second bet - Toronto IT under 2.5 goals
