But schedule didn't become any easier for the Canaries. They secured a 2:1 victory over Lens in a recent mid-week Coupe de France fixture. However, Antoine Kombouare's men are not so successful in Ligue 1 - they suffered defeats to Rennes (0:1) and Lens (1:3).
Despite these results, club is still at the 13th position in the standings with 28 points to their name, but now the visitors are closer to the relegation zone. Kombouare's men are weak on the offense - they scored only 25 goals in 25 matches.
