In the last game, the Red Wings managed to win in the suburbs of New York. On December 10, the Michigan team was stronger than Buffalo (6:5, B), although they had to come back from a score of 3:5 at the end of the second period.
The goaltending issue has become especially acute after Cameron Talbot injury. Now, in addition to him, Alex Lyon, who logically should be Detroit starting goalie, is in the team infirmary.
