Command Analysis

Seattle Kraken

Current form
Seattle played well at the beginning of the regular season, but due to weak results during the fall and early winter, the club from Washington State dropped to 12th place in the conference and is gradually lagging behind the top eight in the West. Jordan Eberle team earned 47 points in 51 games and is eight points behind Calgary, which is in eighth place. Dan Baylsma team is currently in good shape. They have won three of the previous five games, while playing a decent series of games on their home court. Before returning home, Dan Baylsma team lost in Canada to Edmonton (2:4), although they won the opening segment of the confrontation.
The visiting defense is like a sieve in January. Seattle has allowed 14 goals in its last five games, although it hasn't allowed that much during the season - 3.18 goals per game. Joey Daccord has started 33 games and has only allowed one shutout. The goalie has stopped 91.68% of the shots on his own, which is not bad by league standards. He is not in good shape right now and has won four of his seven games.
The Kraken have not always been great at converting their chances, scoring only 2.92 goals per game. The bright spot in the Mariners' offense is Jared McCann, who has scored 38 goals (14+24). He is only 77th in the league top scorers, but the other forwards are not even in the top 100.
Disqualifications and injuries
Jordan Eberle will not play in the next game.
Interesting trends for betting
- Seattle won only 48.6% of faceoffs
The Krakens don't always perform well at the point and often lose the puck to their opponents.
- The Monsters take 26 shots on target per game
The visitors have a lot of initiative and often bother the opponents' goalkeepers.

Anaheim Ducks

Current form
The Ducks are trying to get back into the playoff hunt, but they currently sit in 13th place in the Western Conference. Anaheim has only 46 points in 49 games, and the visitors are nine points behind eighth-place Calgary. The Ducks are terrible on the road and have earned a modest three points in six games in their last road series. Greg Cronin men played three games at home before traveling to Washington State. They started with a 5-2 loss to Florida, then crushed Pittsburgh (5-1) and Nashville (5-2). In the match against the Predators, the home team managed to decide all questions regarding the winner within 40 minutes of the game.
The Ducks' offense has been inconsistent this stretch of the season. In their last ten games, the Ducks have scored more than twice in a game only three times, and they've only managed to make 23 shots since the start of the year. Troy Terry has returned from injury and has already managed to make a goal and a few assists. The American has 38 points (15 goals, 23 assists) and is the only player in the league top 100 scoring players.
The Ducks are allowing 3.12 goals per game this season, but have been a little more reliable on the road. Lukas Dostal remains the team starting goalie and made 32 saves against the Preds. The goalie has a .908 save percentage and has only one shutout in 29 starts. John Gibson was injured against Nashville and is unlikely to be able to help his teammates.
Disqualifications and injuries
Brock McGinn and Tomas Suchanek are both out with injuries, while John Gibson is questionable.
Interesting trends for betting
- Anaheim gets 8.35 penalty minutes per game.
Ducks are usually eliminated at least four times per game.
- Anaheim has a 30-41 goal-against-goal ratio in the second period.
The Ducks have been very ineffective in the second twenty minutes and rarely score goals in it.
Trends
Bet 1st period: total under 1.5 goals
In two of Seattle three games, the first period was scoreless.
2.35Bet 2nd period: Seattle will score
The Ducks have conceded in the second period in four of their five games.
1.28Tip and bets
Seattle has been playing well at home in the second half of January and after a loss to Edmonton, returns to home ice. Dan Bijlsma men have not yet lost their chances of making the playoffs and can get closer to the top eight if they start winning more often. Anaheim has been playing well in recent matches, but the team from California demonstrates a very weak level of hockey on the road. We think that the hosts will control the course of the match and will be able to defeat the Ducks within regulation time. We will hedge our bet with a zero handicap on the Kraken.
Our prediction is Seattle win with Asian handicap (0) for 1.75
Bet on individual total
The Ducks have been weak on the road and rarely score more than two goals per game. In three of their five away games, the Ducks have not scored at all and have been very poor on the opponent half of the ice. Seattle is capable of playing solid defense. In four of their seven games, the Krakens have not allowed more than two goals. We believe in the monsters' defense.
Betting Tip - Anaheim individual total under 2.5 goals for 1.95
Bet on total
Recently, Seattle games have often been low-scoring. The hosts don't score too many themselves and have improved a bit in terms of reliability. The visitors regularly have problems creating scoring chances and have to spend most of their time on their half of the ice. We don't think there will be too many accurate shots in the match.
Betting Tip - total under six goals for 1.70
