Djokovic vs Karatsev: no chance for Russian?
At Belgrade tournament in one of semi-finals Novak Djokovic will take on Aslan Karatsev. Who will advance to the final? Read in our prediction.

Command Analysis

Novak Djokovic

Looks like Djokovic is seriously motivated for that competition. He failed at Monte-Carlo and now will try to redeem himself at Belgrade tournament. So far he is doing great. In first round he left no chance to Korean player Kwong (6:1, 6:3) and then to his compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic (6:1, 6:3).
Novak has two titles of Belgrade tournament, but they were claimed in 2009 and 2011. This tournament wasn't held for a long time, only in this year competition returned to Serbia thanks to Novak.

Aslan Karatsev

After solid play on hard surface Karatsev had slow down a little. At Miami Russian player was beaten by Sebastian Korda in the third round. At Monte-Carlo Karatsev didn't impress too. After a victory over Lorenzo Musetti (6:3, 6:4) he fell down to Stephanos Tsitsipas (3:6, 4:6).
But Belgrade tournament is so far going good for Russian. On the road to the semi-final he beat Aljaz Bedene (6:3, 4:6, 7:6) and Gianluca Mager (6:3, 6:4). Probably this tournament will be successful for Karatsev. In previous year he was performing great on clay.

Tip and bets
Players already played against each other this year. It was at Australian Open, also in semi-final. Back then Djokovic took a confident win. We expect that Serb will prevail in this match too. Novak is on a mission to win the title and will go on full speed.
Our prediction is on Novak Djokovic to win with handicap (-5) games.
So far Djokovic don't gave away a single set at Belgrade. In the semi-final he will probably win in straight sets too. Karatsev failed to cause Serb any problems at Melbourne, and he is inlikely to succeed here, at Novak's homeland.
Our second bet is on total under 20,5 games.
