Vancouver vs Columbus: prediction for the NHL game
The Canucks square off against the Blue Jackets in the NHL on December 15. We made predictions for this game, which you can find below.

Command Analysis

Vancouver Canucks

Vancouver played the previous five games at home. The Canucks did well and suffered only one defeat - to Pittsburgh (1:4). The defensive line was unable to stop the Penguins' onslaught and allowed them to create too many scoring chances. Vancouver also struggled against Boston and Winnipeg, but managed to prevail in penalty shootouts (2:1 SO and 4:3 SO, respectively).
The Canucks were more confident against Carolina (2:1) and Los Angeles (4:0). Forwards Miller and Boeser chalked up 2 points each against the Kings.

Columbus Blue Jackets

Columbus also played most games at home lately, but their home results haven't been impressive. They recorded only 2 victories in 8 matches - over San Jose (6:4) and Seattle (5:4 ОТ). Forward Domi was excellent against the Kraken: he gave an assist and scored a double.
The Blue Jackets also hosted Anaheim, but lost to the Ducks in a penalty shootout (1:2 SO). Columbus lost too many points in recent games and dropped to the 9th line in the Eastern Conference table.
Trends

In 3 out of 4 head-to-head games, the teams scored in each period.

In 4 out of 5 head-to-head games, Columbus scored first.
Tip and bets
Vancouver have gained momentum at home, and we believe they have a very good chance to beat Columbus in the upcoming fixture and extend their winning streak to five games. We are not convinced by the recent performance of Columbus away.
Our prediction - Vancouver to win
We do not expect a barn-burner here. Vancouver have a solid defensive line, and it will be very hard for Columbus to break through it.
