“Calgary” — “Columbus”: forecast for the NHL match
Calgary will begin another series of games in Alberta on December 4 after a disappointing away run. The Flames were terrible defensively in late November, allowing 17 goals in just four previous games. On home ice, Mikael Backlund team is much more reliable, allowing opponents to turn on the red light behind their net only 2.25 times on average. Dustin Wolfe is gradually losing the trust of the visiting head coach, and Daniel Vladar is getting his chance. The Czech goalie took to the ice twice in the away series, but failed to help his teammates win either time.
Calgary has been lackluster offensively in recent games and hasn't scored more than twice in three games. Nazem Kadri has taken the lead in points for the Flames with 15 points (8+7), but Jonathan Huberdeau (8+6) and Rasmus Andersson (5+9) are just one point behind.
