Whoever becomes the coach will have to patch up the holes in the team's defense. The Saints have only once kept a clean sheet in the last 28 matches, conceding ten goals in five away games in the Premier League. After 22 rounds, the guests have four wins and three draws, which corresponds to 15 points and the 20th position in the standings.
Walker-Peters, McCarthy, Livramento, and Larios will not take the field.
