Anders Sorensen men played a virtually error-free series on home ice and beat three good teams in turn. Nick Foligno team dealt with the Islanders (5:3), Washington (3:2) and Seattle (3:1). The Hawks couldn't score a goal against the Krakens for a long time, but they finally opened the scoring in the middle of the second period and secured their victory at the beginning of the third period. This was enough to hold on to the necessary result until the final siren.
The Blackhawks have finally started scoring more, and have scored 16 goals in their last five games. Connor Bedard has taken the lead in the club scoring list. The young forward has scored 26 points (7+19) and is making more assists to his teammates. Ryan Donato is the visiting team top scorer so far, with 11 goals.
Chicago isn't that bad defensively, allowing 3.09 goals per game on average this season. Arvid Soderblom looks set to be the Hawks' starting goalie for the foreseeable future, as he was the one in goal for the last home series. The goalie has a 91.28% save percentage and has appeared in 13 games.
